  • 3rd Time Around..

    This is my 3rd attempt in the last 11 months. I always find a reason to change course, usually because I get sick of eating meat or I feel too deprived from lacking breads and sugar. Oh believe me, there's noo DOUBT that I'm a carb addict who's got to change her ways. Things I've noticed and can no longer tolerate:

    *Getting up front the couch is harder
    *Attempting Weight Watchers and feeling starved
    *Only having 5-10 pieces of clothes that fit

    We recently got military orders and moving south in a few months!! Although I'm excited, I've got major weight issues and need to drop pounds fast! I have begun sending resumes out, etc... and my interview suit doesn't fit!!! I'll be checking in daily....

    Hi there, Nic! It's good to see you again!

    Don't feel bad about so many attempts. At them, I'm about the attemptiest! It shows, too, on the lack of weight I've lost in the last 6-8 months!

    But you know what? You're back, and that is what matters. You believe in this way of eating. Now let's get you to believe in yourself! You know, I believe in you, and I know you're going to lose this weight. It's time you do, too!

    Whatr do you plan to do differently this time around?

    Would you be willing to get ahold of a copy of Dr Phil's Ultimate Weight Loss Solution Book and work through it with us? It is an excellent way to deal with our self image and you can buy it uber-cheap at Amazon.com. We start Monday!

    Are you exercising? If not, totally start! I lost a lot of weight when I came back because I started out exercising! What do you plan to do? Also, go ahead and when you're ready to commit, sign up for an exercise challenge to keep you motivated!

    Ready to set a goal, yet? If so, check out the challenges section at the bottom of the page in the miscellaneous forums! There you will find varying challenges. Mandi has an excellent one she is JUST beginning, and it deals with making only one change at a time. It looks excellent!
