  • Hi everyone!

    Just wanted to say hi. I am new to this board.I started Atkins in July 2003 at 165 lbs-lost 30 lbs. Started trying for baby#2, which I had in Jan 2005. I got up to 159 at my highest preggo weight which I didn't think was to bad. But, since the baby, I have had the hardest time getting back on Atkins. I need someone to kick my butt into gear! LOL! No, the first time it was alot easier because my dh also decided to do Atkins with me, but when I went off atkins, so did he, and he doesn't want to go back.
    Well, so far today this is how I have done, be kind:

    Breakfast:
    2 Hardboiled eggs
    water and more water

    Lunch:
    Can of tuna mixed with mayo and mustard
    1 cup of lettuce with 4 sliced mushrooms
    water and more water

    Not sure what I am having tonight yet, this is usually when I cave. Everyone send me some "stay away carb" vibes for tonight , I will need them.

    OK, lemmee see whatcha got there.

    I'd plug your stuff into fitday so you can keep track of your carbs for the day. Make sure your ratios are 65% fat, %35 protein and %5 carbs. Try having more salad veg for dinner (about another cup).

    You know what works for me for dinner? Make your dinner at breakfast time. For me, this means making an omelet and saving half for dinner. You can cook for the family, but eat your omelet and not what's on the table. Or serve yourself from the kitchen and don't take any extras from the table!

        Well so far so good. I just ate a bunless burger with mayo, and another salad with a cup of lettuce w/ ranch dressing.
        cleo- thanks for the tip, and reminding me about fitday, I had forgotten about it!

          Sounds like you had a great day!!! Take it one day at a time... This is what I am having the hardest time learning!!!!! I plan ahead but I still have to take everything one day at a time... Why worry about tomorrow if you can't make it through today! You will do great----~~~Sending good vibes your way~~~---
