  • I'm BAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!

    Well here I am again. I should've never got off this diet in the first place but now it's time to drop 25 lbs........................again! I'm a little rusty on the whole diet and I can't really remember a whole lot of what I'm supposed to be doing but here goes anyway! NO MORE CARBS!!!!!!!

    If you havent got your DANDR to hand take a trip to the FAQ forum and read up on the induction threads.
    And look at the stickies on the 14-day induction too - perhaps print out a copy of Tammy's wallet-sized card for easy reference when out and about.

    And maek sure you post on ADBB whenever you are unsure or need a boost.

    Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

        Welcome back Justin. You may not remember anything about Atkins but you DID remember how to get here....that's the most important part. Stick around this time. I'd love to see your progress.

          It's nice to be back. Today(my first day) was a pretty good one. I didn't get a chance to do any exercise but I've had at least 8 glasses of water so far. For breakfast I had 2 eggs. For lunch I had 1 lb of ground turkey. For dinner tonight I had another 2 eggs and another lb of ground turkey. I know, I know, I didn't eat any veggies today. But at least my carb count is less that 3 grams today.

            Justin:

            Don't forget that you need to eat more than just meat and eggs. If you're not eating what is recommended, then you're not doing the diet. Try to add some veggies at every meal or at least lunch and dinner. Believe me no one dislikes veggies more than me, but I have gone to some of the low carb recipe sites and have found some very creative ways to "hide" those veggies. Hang in there and don't hesitate to ask for help.

              I love veggies. I just didn't have time to eat any today. I have no veggies at my house right now.
