  • Not Enough Carbs

    I'm only at 2 carbs for the day and it's already past lunch time. As I recall, I need to at least get this amount around 15g. Looks like I'm going to need to load up the carbs with veggies and cheese to get close.

    Any other food suggestions?

      Your body doesn't register anything below 20, so whether you eat 2 carbs or 20, it's about the same.

      That said, even eggs have trace carbs (count .5 a piece)...as does mayonnaise (.1 g per Tbsp). So you could be eating more carbs that you thought you were. Even Diet Coke is .10 carbs per 8 ounce glass. Things can add up fairly quickly! My rule of thumb? If it says "0 carbs" register it as .0 carbs. You'll never go wrong!

              You probably haven't had your veggies yet...you should try and spread the carbs throughout the day and not all at once....you could have a nice salad with full fat dressing. That would help towards your 3 cups of veggies

                Agree... if havent had your veggies in, get them there. I cant figure out the veggies at breakfast thing for myself, but I sure do have them at mid morning snack time.. And agreeing with Cleo... trace adds up, and we usually dont even think about it..

                  I've been using FitDay to track my food intake. It seems to take into consideration the trace amounts. Either that or it sucks at adding. I had some veggies with my Wendy's meal, so that bumped me up to 11 carbs (4 are fiber). This puts me at 7 net carbs. I'll be eating a salad tonite so that will flesh out the rest of my veggies.
