A horrible 2 days? Try a horrible THREE days!

First of all, thanks EVERYONE for your continued support and encouragement, especially Cleo and Loser4life. If I thought Sunday and Monday were bad days...Tuesday I got into a pretty bad car accident My three babies were in the car with me (my cousins who I am extremely close with...they are 17, 10, and 7) but were luckily not seriously hurt, My beautiful car is probably totaled (thank goodness for full coverage), and I am SORE SORE SORE. That makes 3 days in a row that I cried so hard I almost threw up. I'm waiting to see what happens next . Hopefully, my bad luck is over. I have stayed on plan, however. I did eat some sunflower seeds last night because I didn't want to bother with trying to make or find anything to eat.

BRIGHT SPOT: I just tried on a pair of size 16 pants I bought on sale at Old Navy today and thought it would be awhile until they fit me. I tried them on a few minutes ago, and....NOT TOO SHABBY!!!! I'm not getting too excited, because the pants may run a bit big, but all I know is that a month ago, I was lucky to get into a size 18!

How awful to be in a car accident but especially to have your babies with you. Im sure you are sore today. Been there done that and that is a lame I never want to feel again. You should be proud of yourself keeping on track with your Atkins thru it all.

Hang in there because there is no other way to go than up from here.

And a big Wahooooo for the sixteens!! What a feeling that is!!

Thanks for the (((hugs)))! Yes, everyone is OK, but my babies had to go to the hospital, the 7 year old has a black eye, and the 10 year old had to get a catscan for her tummy because the seat belt made it swell up. I insisted the 17 year old go, even though he said he wasn't hurt. I didn't feel hurt at all until everyone got taken away in the ambulances and the cars got towed away...and then I felt sore pretty much everywhere. I'm just glad the kids are OK. I'm going to miss my convertable, though, that I JUST payed off in August.

Whoa-- a car accident in a convertible? Praise God no one was hurt worse. Girl, you had a guardian angel looking after your family... if not Geico. :^D

Yeah and the guy that hit me was in a convertible, too. But mine was much newer and much prettier

My new vehicle is probably going to be a truck, FYI. Everyone is pressuring me to stay away from little cars, lol.
