Happy Saturday!

Seems kind of sleepy around here this morning.

Maybe I should get Fins cats out and set them loose to see if everyone is OK?!

It is raining here and pretty dreary outside. But the good news is that its a 3 day weekend from work so I wont complain.

I am about to put together a chowder right after I make BLTs for lunch.

Does anyone have much more exciting plans to share?!

Well the weekend is over here (weekends are Thursday and Friday here) but it was good, although was hard to stick to the plan, as it is Ramadan here and we went to two family get togethers. I stuck to mostly proteins and salads though which I'm proud of myself for doing.

Other than that it was a good weekend!

I exercised today for about 20 minutes on the eclyptical machine, and was sweating like heck, but it felt great!

Very rainy here in Rhode Island, so just staying indoors,excersing and doing laundry and homework.

Hi

Quite cold but dry here. Went for lunch today and had mushrooms with spinach and raclette cheese for starter and then a steak and spinach for main course. I almost wavered.... I usually have fish cakes and fries when I go there which I love..... anyway, I got over it and am glad I stuck to plan.

Taking baby for her swimming lesson tomorrow and then chilling out.

Well I had forgotten about my Saturday habit............ coffee with half/half and sugarrrrrrr with a bagel or crossant. So I am out of coffee for husband I go get it and kids a donut. I get home and ask my husband if he wants eggs with me. So I make eggs with fresh spinach, mushrooms, sausage, tomato, a touch of butter(shhhhhhhhhh don't tell him ) Well he loved it! It was quit yummy. So I fogot about the bagel!

This weekend my husband is gone with 2 kids watching the game at a friends, while one son is selling pizza at the game, my oldest son is home sick eating chicken soup. The puppies are napping! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

So I am just sitting here enjoying the chilly sunny day in peace and quiet!!!!

Weekend not so good today. I got a bit of GOOD news, and reacted like it was the end of the world. My old job, dispatching in AZ, has taken me back, after I thought it had been so long since my request, they would be turning me down. It is VERY stressful, as it puts me back in contact with DX, and we have NO money, and no place to live there until my first check comes, and we can get a place, and I have to come up with child care.. BUT... it is 15000 more a year than I will make anywhere here.. I was offered a job Friday at **9.00** an hour LESS than I make there, and it has excellent insurance and retirement and such... and the cost of living is way less there,, blah blah blah. I have a polygraph and drug test next Friday, and then should be moving back to AZ very shortly.

So, I naturally respond by eating everything in sight. Add to the fact that my family is absolutely against me going... it has been a day.

BUT... it is a good thing. I just needed to ramble.

Tommorrow will be better. I did have a guy smile at me in the library today, an interested looking kind of smile. I froze, and didnt know what to do. I has been a while, eh?

I am back to the board, Been so busy with prep for tonights concert. I have no idea why I stayed away from singing so long. I feel awesome. Tomorrow I will be exuasted all day.

Good Morning Everyone! Things here are ok...but the weather is horrible. I worked my second job yesterday and it was very windy and rainy so after work I just got myself home. Last night it was horrendous...major rain and high winds. Thankfully I didn't lose power.

Right now it's cool and not raining. On my way to the gym and food shopping afterwards...have to make up for what I didn't do yesterday...so it will be a couple of stops today. Then home to clean, cook and relax! Holiday tomorrow (Columbus Day) so I'm off work and can possibly get more done. Gotta love these 3 day weekends!

I did alright this weekend. My little boy has the flu and my sister is out here househunting over the weekend so things are hectic.

Those eggs sound real good Manita!
Way to go Woman..getting smiled at by guys is fun isn't it? I wish you the best of luck on the job thing.

Just had sr photos here at my house and Ill figure out how to post them as soon as I can. Sometimes I cant believe mine are all grown up. Still get hugs but they are different from when they were little. Cherish each and every one you get Zara!!

We are dealing with a leak in the roof with all the rain we have been having and seem to have found the culprit. Covered it with plastic and as soon as this weather clears and it dries out we can patch it. Roof replacement is planned for next spring... just in time I guess.

Another lazy day for me. I dont remember ever having a cold knock me down this much. I cant seem to get out of my own way. I rest, clean a bit, rest some more, made a chili this morning and now sitting here waiting for another trickle of energy to swap some laundry. Kept waking up last night listening to myself wheeze.

ugh

I know..............This too shall pass.
