  • Day Three Again

    Well, folks, here I am again. The last three (or four ) times I started Atkins in the last month, I have not gotten past day three. Today is the day! I will wake up tomorrow and it will be day four instead of day one again! That is my committment to my favorite friends here on this board. What would I do without you? I had two eggs and a sausage this morning. I am having lunch with a friend and I am ordering the grilled chicken salad. I already made my hamburger pie for dinner. How can I fail?! I cannot! I have had such success with Atkins. Two years ago I lost 25 pounds and reached my goal weight. I will do that again starting now, well starting three days ago.

    1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
    what the rungs mean to me:
    rung 1 - more veggies
    rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
    rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
    rung 4 - berries, melon
    rung 5 - wine -
    rung 6 - beans, hummus
    rung 7 - other fruits
    rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
    rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
    Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
    (on to pre-maintenance)

    Getting over that hump can be hard but you have a plan this time and you can do it. Good job with planning ahead for lunch and dinner. You are doing great...keep going.

      You can do this Shannon.

      It really is all about being one day at a time. Some days it is one hour at at time and even one moment at a time. (Which is where I am today ugh)

      Keep posting. That will help you keep your goals front and center on your mind and give you motivation to keep on keeping on.

      Im routing for you............. as is everyone here. Cant wait to see the "Day 4" post you are going to put up tomorrow!!
