  • Day Four, Day Four, Day Four!!!

    Good morning,
    Thanks for everyone's support yesterday. I am through with day three and I am on day four and I feel great. My meals are all planned out for today and I have already dropped a couple of pounds, I can tell. I am holding off the big weigh-in. I did have one hurdle today that I already crossed in advance. My son got a great report card, so we were planning to take him out to dinner to his favorite chicken wing place. I have a huge trigger there that I recognize now. (Sam Adams on tap!) SO, we talked to him about homemade chicken wings. He loves them on the grill! Not only did I divert a possible sabotage, but we have dinner planned already.

    I am not sure what I would do with out you all. Thanks a bunch!

    1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
    what the rungs mean to me:
    rung 1 - more veggies
    rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
    rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
    rung 4 - berries, melon
    rung 5 - wine -
    rung 6 - beans, hummus
    rung 7 - other fruits
    rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
    rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
    Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
    (on to pre-maintenance)
