  • Do you feel warmer on this WOE?

    Hi

I don't know if it's raised metabolism but I feel so much warmer on this WOE. I walked in to town today and people were layered up in their jackets etc. and I was hot in a long sleeved t-shirt! It was about 16'C today.

    Maybe it's just me!

I wish I had that problem, but instead I have the opposite. I've been freezing for the past month. I'm the only one in the house who ever thinks it's cold, but I usually end up huddled in a blanket or wearing a jacket.. or I go outside to warm up (it's still quite warm here in Florida)
    interesting.
Sorry everyone. I've had to abandon Atkins. After slipping up, I gained back everything and more. I fully believe in and support Atkins, I know it works, but it's too hard for me. I'm following my own plan now, exercising more, eating less in general and healthier, still focusing more on veggies and fruits and whole grains and much less processed junk and bad carbs. I still visit here occasionally, so I will keep my stats listed here when I do. I wish everyone the best on this program or any others that work for you.

many of us had the too hot in the summer too cold in the winter issues some of it has to do with weight loss and a chemical that also effects body temp regulation being created in inverse reation to weight loss the more you loss the less you got floating free . Also body fat acts as insulation keeping us warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer

        I am a lot warmer.

Often wear just shorts and Tee Shirt in the house even in these cooler autumn (fall) days.

I have always slept naked, but find more and more I throw all the covers off as I sleep - I am still doing it as the temperature falls.

Yes, warmer, and I am glad someone else has mentioned it, because I would have expected the opposite.
Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
        he said, 'Don't count calories.'

For me losing that first 65# over the winter I was cold all the time. Sweatshirts and turtle necks were my best friends.
