    Thanks for checking in with me! I am telling you again. What would I do without you? I really don't know. I am so motivated that I am even checking in on the week-end which is something that I don't usually do. Yes, day five for me and there is no temptation on the horizon!! How about the rest of you? How is your Saturday??

    1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
    what the rungs mean to me:
    rung 1 - more veggies
    rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
    rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
    rung 4 - berries, melon
    rung 5 - wine -
    rung 6 - beans, hummus
    rung 7 - other fruits
    rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
    rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
    Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
    (on to pre-maintenance)

      Awesome Shannon! Im happy that you have made it passed day 4 and are about to head into a full week of legal induction!!

      Have you taken some time to check out the Dr Phil thread? I have the book. And have read but have not taken the time to add to the conversation this week, but it is very helpful to read the dialog even if you dont add to the discussion. (I know Cleo.... I will at some point promise!)

      Im mowing today myself. But keeping a cheat free weekend going.

        Today was day seven for me!! I am so excited. I can tell I have lost a little, but I haven't weighed yet. I am trying to convince myself that the important thing is to get used to this as a way of life! So far, it is working. I haven't read the book, but I have been reading the threads. I might just have to pick up the book. Mowing? I thought it was nothing but rain up there these days.

          One week down Shannon!!! Woo Hoo!!!

          You are doing great.

          Chowing was probably a better word for it. I was eating all day long. legally but eating none the less.

          Keep up the good work. And it IS work. You should be proud of getting that important first week under your belt.
