    Good morning everyone! Very excited as am packing for my holiday. Stayed the same weight this week which is a bummer but never mind.

      Happy Tuesday! Day eight for me on strict induction! Today is shaping up to be a fine day. A busy day at work, but that is a good thing. Have a great time on your Holiday Zara! You have a great day too, Terry!

      1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
      what the rungs mean to me:
      rung 1 - more veggies
      rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
      rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
      rung 4 - berries, melon
      rung 5 - wine -
      rung 6 - beans, hummus
      rung 7 - other fruits
      rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
      rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
      Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
      (on to pre-maintenance)

        Good Morning! Already at work and feeling pretty good. Had a hard time getting moving this morning...it's a grey, damp day so I think that always has something to do with it.

          I'm on day 7 of strict induction and I'm hanging in! I wonder if my dreaming of eating a flax crackers means I am intolerant of them and ought not have them (please God, please let me have flax crackers when I get back into OWL)...

            Hey Cleo, it is day eight for me. We are on the same path. Today the pastry man came in with his usual Tuesday morning goodies. I knew this was coming and it is a HUGE trigger for me. SO, I was ready. I had an extra big breakfast this morning and treated myself to a slice of cheddar cheese and a diet soda while every one else was being bad.

            Another obstacle down. My anniversary is December 16th. Fifteen years. We are getting a nice hotel and have great dinner reservations. I would love to buy a little black dress and high heels to go with my loss. Root for me. I have a little under two months to get ready.

              Hi all, I haven't posted very much, especially lately...but I wanted to check in today (my weekly weigh-in day) and say that I haven't stopped doing this WOE, and as a matter of fact, I've lost 2 more lbs for a total of 14 since September 6th. I am very happy that I'm losing steadily at about 2 lbs per week. This week's goal: MORE EXERCISE!

                I am doing fine today, I had my usual eggs. I have noticed that if I stick to eggs for breakfast I am fuller and not hungry. So that is the plan from now on. I love different salids for lunch and modify my familys meal for super I think I will stick to this. I am a creature of habbit!

                I need to get to walking, I am taking the little puppy Racer out for a walk today and mabey Thunder the big puppy later. I am still sick with this cold and cough. I am taking meds at night I don't care, I will not suffer, it makes me hungry!

                  hello! i am here! i am staying awaaay from the scale for a little while...between tom and not being at 100% atkins form last week...but i am alive going strong today. life is starting to get a little more stressful. i am moving to chicago in two weeks and will start my new job nov 1! i'm excited but really stressed. this is my first place without any financial support from my parents. they have helped me get through school for the most part, and my apts at school, but i am officially on my own!! totally empowering but very scary at the same time! phew. so that is my life right now. hope everyone is doing great! happy tuesday!

                    Day 8 for me! My day to weigh in....I've lost 4lbs on my first week of induction!!!!

                      Shrinktoberfest continues. 2 1/2 hours of dancing last night at Godspell rehearsals. I could have never DREAMED of such a thing prior to re-starting this WOE.

                        Hi everybody. This is my day 3 starting strict induction over again. I wasn't losing and having a hard time with cravings off of induction so I am back on it. I have a lot to lose so I plan to stay on induction as long as I can. Due to bad swelling with TOM I gained 5 pounds!!!!! I know I will lose it in a week. But all this retaining water is making me feel really tired and makes my ankles and feet hurt. I haven't had one this bad in a long time and I am not enjoying it but anyday now IT should come and a couple of days after that I will lose all this water I'm carrying around. My goal for this week is to add some exercise of any sort. Just have to start and go from there. But being this tired from TOM and all this swelling it might be hard. Wish me luck.

                          Hey you all. this is day four for me! and I've been very strict too! I am feeling much better now, I feel energetic and don't have that wicked headache anymore.

                            Hi all! Wow- great to see so many strict inductionees! I am doing strict as well, OK, maybe not 100% b/c I prefer to eat lots of veggies but anyway- off wrok today and lots of laundry to do. cleaning, etc. I haven't started on any of it so I better get moving. a lazy day for me! Have got to get some exercise in today though~!
                            Caution I BITE! clicky clicky..its tricky rikki!
