  • 10th time around club??

    Does one exist? Perhaps if it does it can be named Shera? I have seriously fallen into a hole of darkness. If ya havent noticed my siggy, im back in the 200's, a far cry from the 192 I was at. Ive had alot of things go on in my life recently, 1st as you all know my mom was very sick, and then I had to move. Whoever said moving was fun, lied. No time to think about what I was eating, or even try to plan ahead.

    I totally went off this WOE for over two months now. Two Months 12 Pounds. Its very sad to think, I did all the work and let it go down the drain. Its very very sad to think I let myself down. Ive got to do something all my new clothes dont fit, back into my "fat clothes" thank god I didnt throw them all away. Im miserable, Im tired, and I keep getting sick. I was never this sick when I was sticking to this WOE, matter of fact I never felt so good.... body, soul and mind! I feel like a pile of melted gum, stuck on someones shoe right now, and it stinks!

    So here I am, once again, asking for everyones help...... I feel like such a moocher, since Ive done this one too many times

    There is, technically, no Tenth Time Around Club.

    You see, then we'd have to call this the THAC Forum rather than the STAC forum, and it would thound like we're lithping.

    You're no mooch! You're my sistah! Welcome home, girl! I spent three months this summer when I was moving (no, it's NO fun to move) and being generally abusive to my body with some pop tarts, et al. You WILL recover from this! Just know the first 2 ways are going to be so hard you'll probably need someone to kick!

      Welcome Back Sashee You've gone through a lot, so don't beat yourself up so badly. You know how this WOL made you feel before, so you are going to do great and feel great in no time!

        Aww Cleo, I wuv you Always find a way to make me crack a smile.... And god knows that hasnt happened much recently. If I can just get over this "hump" and to make myself feel halfway decent, and just have HALF the energy I did before, I think I can do it. Im changing my New Years challenge to being under 190, the under 170 just isnt going to happen now =*(

        I know the only person that can pick me up is myself.... Its just giving myself the strength to do it!

        And I have my husband to kick, lol... Its amazing how hard he can be kicked and still not break, 6'5" and 180 pounds, NOW i know who gets all the fat in the family... ME!

            Twelve pounds in two months? Is that all? With all you have been through, change the thinking. Hmm, I have been through all this. This time in my life really sucked and I went back to my comfort/convenience fooks. BUT, I am going to pat myself on the back and realize that I only gained twelve pounds in two months. I did not gain 18 lbs in three months. Today is a new day, Lady. Welcome back. Tenth time around? How about twentieth. We are probably none of us truly "second" time around.
            149.8/no weigh/ 119



            1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
            what the rungs mean to me:
            rung 1 - more veggies
            rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
            rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
            rung 4 - berries, melon
            rung 5 - wine -
            rung 6 - beans, hummus
            rung 7 - other fruits
            rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
            rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
            Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
            (on to pre-maintenance)

                  welcome back! You will be great I am sure. 12 lbs isn't too bad for a couple of months. I go off this diet for 3 days and I will gain back 10lbs!!!!!!!

                    Daily Goals:
                    No wasted carbs.
                    Water intake .5 -1 gallon.
                    Exercise 60 minutes 5x week
                    Get in the right veggies.

                      Awww thanks girls!!! I suppose your all right, 12 pounds in two months isnt THAT bad, but I think the killer is going from the 1's back to the 2's ... Thats the big kicker. Im clad my water is cold, and my seat is warm Im gonna be needing that water, but wont need the seat, I intend on keeping my booty moving from now on , well ok, an occasional seat to get on here and talk, lol.

                        I'm in the same boat you're in shashee. My high was 220, with atkins I was able to get down to 192. Right now im at 212!!!! But I am on my 4th day on atkins...I want to atleast get under 200 by thanksgiving and possibly back to the 190 area by Xmas. I hope I do it this time around.
                        220/207/170

                        2nd Goal= 190
                        Target= 150

                          I know you both can do it! thanks to Atkins I was down to 195 at one point and since then I am back in the 2s but I am trying to get to onederland by Halloween~! I hope by new years or christmas that I can be in teh 180s! We can do this!!!! With the support from each other in this group! I love adbb!!!!

                            yeah same here! i was 181 6 months ago now im up to about 220 or so..... im too scared to get onto the scalse until i officially get back onto the diet tomorrow..... keeping my fingers crossed. anyways, i missed here!!! we can all definatley keep each other motivated! we CAN do it. and i am planning on keeping it off this time!

                              WE CAN DO IT......... My goal.......Make it to lunch time, then after I get through lunch, Make it till dinner......... A few hours at a time, one day at time!!
