  • I am back (for the umpteenth time)...but this time I am doing it RIGHT

Most of you know who I am ... Eireanngobrach from the Extended Induction Forum....but for those of you who do not , I started this fabulous WOE on 6/1/2005 at 262 lbs and lots of inches. Now, almost 5 months later I have lost 40 lbs and 19 inches overall.

I am back in induction because about a month ago, so caught up in my rapid success and swimming incompliments, I started to let thoughts of "oh this cookie won;t kill me" creep into my little brain. That would lead to me saying later that day "well, I already messed up, what's another cheat...I'll start again tomorrow" and on and on and on.

I celebrated my 24th birthday yesterday (yes with illegal foods) and realized this is a good time to re-commit. So today is the first day of the rest of my life. I have firm plans to make my 24th year of life the best ever and it all starts here. Instead of just inducing ketosis, I am starting the whole thing...all over again. I need a detox and I need the support of fellow inductioneers to make it through these next 2 weeks.

Expect frequent posts, journal posts in the journals forum and more pics ( I have every month since june up already) and if you don;t hear from me....raise ****!
    Thanks for listening

So, how are you doing it right this time? Aside from us using butt glue on you, how are you going to do it right this time? Give me a list, girl! you're going to be accountable!

      And welcome home.

Eireanngobrach welcome back. Been there done that with those thoughts of just one won't hurt, already cheated so what the heck, and I'll start over tomorrow. But I am back on track today too and on day 7 of strict induction and my appetite is starting to deminish and I feel like I have a ton of energy today. All week long when I would get those thoughts I just chased them away and pictured myself telling the little red devil NOOOOOOOO not going to do it. LOL Just hang in there, you can do it.

Re: I am back (for the umpteenth time)...but this time I am doing it RIGHT

Wow I am such a bad poster ( make me feel shame...I should be on this site every day) and I won't even go into my barrage of excuses as to why I haven;t been around since 10/20 like I said I would be, BUT I have lost 3 more lbs since I made this resolution (this weekend was tough and I cheated a little bit with some rice and some weird noodle things, but I was on a weekend long job interview and they picked where to eat and I did the best I could without simply refusing to order ANY food.) I guess technically I am back at day 0, but I haven;t left ketosis, so am I still in induction ( round 2)?

Anyways, my weightloss lightbulb moment happened when I sat down in the airplane to DC....I usually have to go in 1 hip at a time and barely get the seatbelt across me....I had room to spare and this is the first time ina LOOONNGGG time I had seatbelt SLACK ( please tell me they didn't make seatbelts bigger...) so I was excited. I also did some stuff this weekend (I'll spare the details) that I would have been WAY too self conscious to ever do before. Go me!
