  • Happy Happy Friday!!!!!

    Well its Friday!!!!!!! YAY! Is everyone ready for the weekend. A weekend with no bad carbies? Im sure yall are!

    Im on day three, actually feel good today and a lil thinner, I cant wait to weigh in next Wednesday!

    Everyone have a good Friday, Drink your wa wa and have an awesome weekend!

    Well, I tried re-introducing yogurt yesterday. Let's just say I'm not sure if I've issues with the yogurt or the flax, but for now I'm yanking both those turkeys out of my eating plan. I just can't have anymore hangups!

    The thing I am loving about Atkins is bthat we can sincerely tell which foods do and don't agree with us. It's the world's greatest rotating diet!

      Yah I noticed once I had anything that had any kind of milk content in it, it gave me the runny dunnys!! I cant even make a dip.....I am going to attempt the cream cheese pizza thingy this weekend.... Should be interesting since I dont have a cooking bone in my volumputious body!! HAHA

      Im doing good, and I wanna peak on the scale.. My jeans feel lose, and I know even 2 or 3 pounds make them suckers feel like i had to paint em on

      After I get through the first two weeks I kinda start doing a modifiied induction....I cant go through the rungs cus im allergic to dairy, nuts, and im not an alkiholic I like my berries but oh my god they are more expensive than a gallon of gas! Winter is a bad time for this WOE I think, hurts the pocket like somethin serious......BUT, I will do what I need to do for my body!

        Whereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee is everyone today? Everyone have off because they have real jobs? Real lives? And Im stuck at work, talking to myself =(

          I am here with you. I am actually getting ready to go to town, but I will be here for a bit! Congratulations on the looser pants! I easily went from a size 20 to a loose size 18 when I did this woe for a month a few months ago, and now I am looking to drop another size to size 16 in the next six weeks! I would LOVE to be back in my 16s! They are my fav. jeans. I have lots of them all from Old Navy and I adore them and have held onto them for YEARS in case one day I found a "diet" I could stick with. I just hope I can stick with this one!

            You know girl, Old Navy jeans are cut very small. They are I guess a "knock off" from Gap. If you were to go into GAP to buy a pair, you would be buying 14's, but from Old Navy possibly a 16 or 18...... If you wanna really feel good, go to the GAP lol!!! I have jeans from size 18-12.... Im currently in a 14, even after gaining almost 15 pounds they still fit, and just in the past few days a lil looser, thank god cus I was about to bring a respirator with me when i wore em!

            You can stick with it.......if you dont they will release the siamese cats on you! BEWARE

              I'm here it's just been a wild week at work and today I can't seem to concentrate on much of anything. I have been here all day and I swear I have only gotten two things done. It's probably going to be a stressful weekend. One of my friends here at work her boyfriend shot and killed himself Thursday so his funeral is probably going to be this weekend. She wants as many of us as possible to come and support her because she thinks it is going to be bad. If the funeral is tomorrow I have a baby sitter for Anna and I will go. I am telling myself I will not eat if it gets stressful. If I keep telling myseld this I hope I can do it when the time comes. That being said I am on day 7 of strict induction with NO cheats at all and I am feeling really good today energy wise. Which is just great. I hope it lasts cause I need it so bad. But, there always has to be a but huh, I have a slight headache and my back hurts so energy or not I probably won't get anything done after work off my to do list. I hope to someday feel energetic and no pain long enough to do some of those things on my list.

                Stay strong Cheryl and be there for your friend. I know it will be stressful, your in 7 days, dont cheat over stress now.

                  Hi All and Happy Friday...what's left of it that is After working last night my hands and legs swelled up and hurt, so I stayed home from the "regular" job today. Kept them elevated all day and now will be on my way to the gym

                  Calories were up yesterday evening/night...all legal of course but I was really hungry. It wasn't just thirst as I drank and drank and was still hungry so I ate. Mostly things with fat. Today seems back to normal.

                  Nothing special going on this weekend...just the usual work, cooking and some cleaning of course

                  Hope everyone is having a great day so far!

                    hey everyone! I guess I'm late since it's saturday, but I'll post anyway.
                    I'm feeling good about the weekend today. I finally saw the scale back to what it was on my official weigh in day this past Monday, so I am relieved. I had a little setback when I tried to add in nuts (I am doing a modified owl).. they set off huge cravings in me and even though I measured out servings in separate ziplocks to keep from over-eating, I ended up eating 3 of the baggies last tuesday! then I had lots of cheese and pickles and was going crazy. I gained a couple pounds that stuck around for days.

                    last night i got in a 3 car accident, so that was pretty stressful. I was driving home and the car in front of me braked real hard, so I had to stomp my brakes. was all relieved for about a second that I didn't hit her and then the car behind me slammed into me and pushed me into the car I had originally missed hitting. I'll tell you that felt like such a hard hit and I expected to turn around and see my trunk sitting there waving at me in the backseat. I have a small, older car, with big rubber bumpers, miraculously my car survived. the bumper is hanging a little low now and part of the metal on the bottom of the trunk is a little smashed in, but not really noticeable. my license plate went flying and was run over. but all in all, I was very relieved.

                    I'm starting a new job on Monday.

                    it's been a pretty crazy week, but I bought a bunch of new workout videos and did the first one today, so I'm back to feeling motivated.
                    anyway, I talked everyone's heads off I'm sure, so time to go get a late lunch - salad!

                    hope everyone else's weekend is going well!
                    Sorry everyone. I've had to abandon Atkins. After slipping up, I gained back everything and more. I fully believe in and support Atkins, I know it works, but it's too hard for me. I'm following my own plan now, exercising more, eating less in general and healthier, still focusing more on veggies and fruits and whole grains and much less processed junk and bad carbs. I still visit here occasionally, so I will keep my stats listed here when I do. I wish everyone the best on this program or any others that work for you.

                    11-10-07: 210/146/125 - more than 60 pounds lost this year!
