  • having a AWFUL day/night

i been so sick with foods so far. i made some stew and i can even hardly smell it because it makes me so sick. I feel like im pregnant all over again!! i wanted a piece of chocolate SO BADLY today that i had to go to sleep to make the craving go away.... all the water in the world wasnt going to save me. i just woke up not too long ago and still have the craving.... and im not hungry in one bit. actually sick to my stomach still. but that chocolate just sounds so good.

Im starting to scare myself because i can hardly eat anything and i have wanted to cheat so badly... this time around is much harder... i know its supposed to be. but getting out of my nasty babits is very hard. i really need some support.

hang in there miss rissa. i promise you, the cravings go away. each day will get slightly better. i know precisely what you're going through (was there myself on the weekend). i would have murdered for something sweet. find something to distract yourself with... even a conversation with someone can get your mind off things. are you taking supplements? try to hang in there. things will get better, you have my word on that. *hugs*

You might be starving yourself. You said you aren't hungry and you can barely eat anything at all. You are supposed to be eating till you are satisfied. Then, drink lots of water, and if you are still craving 'choc' or whatever...then go for a walk, exercise or do something to take your mind off the 'choc craving'.

Hang in there, it does get better with each day. Don't let yourself feel deprived, instead read all the things on the induction list that you CAN eat and start making your weekly menu list. This will get your mind thinking about the many foods that you can eat that will help you get to goal!!

Rissa ...... I went through the same thing a few days ago!!! Even though you feel ill and the smell of foods makes you sick, you want something sweet. I actually had a cup of sugar free jello, then ate a pickle, ya I know sounds sick, but I mean after I gave my body something that it THOUGHT was sweet it calmed down a little bit.

Youve got to eat, if you dont you will continue to feel icky! I know its hard, but youll feel so much better after you eat something, trust me

Hang tough, please. You can do this. Each day really does get better. It really does. I do think that if you give in even a little bit, then it is harder each day. It is better to make a clean break. I hear what you are saying, though. I have exhausted all my old favorite recipes. I am just not a great cook. I am going to make the breakfast "muffins" that everyone talks about soon.

Hey Rissa, it does get better. IF you are taking supplements, check them for iron. When I am not needing it, but I get it in my vitamins, it does make me feel ill when I eat.

Try some light fresh veggies, like crisp lettuce or beans. That may help settle you down.

{{{Rissa}}} If it makes you feel any better, I usually get pretty pukey when I start induction, too! I'll hold your hair back, girl! Hang in there!
