  • I can't beleive it!

    I can't beleive how wonderful i feel!!! WOW!!! now this is the umpteeth time i been on atkins and i dont remember ever feeling so great! For the last 5 months or so i been really depressed and at night i cant fall asleep and then when i do fall asleep i can never wake up before 11am. if i did wake up before 11 i would be a walking zombie. This morning i just jumped out of bed!! not tired one bit! It's just so wonderful! Anyways, thank you to everyone who has supported me during these 6 days.

    Awesome, Rissa. That is my favorite part about this way of eating. The amazing energy level!

    1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
    what the rungs mean to me:
    rung 1 - more veggies
    rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
    rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
    rung 4 - berries, melon
    rung 5 - wine -
    rung 6 - beans, hummus
    rung 7 - other fruits
    rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
    rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
    Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
    (on to pre-maintenance)

      Rissa - Right there with ya chikydee! Ive been falling alseep easier at night then sleeping through the WHOLE NIGHT! OMG, I used to wake up and pee 4 times a night even if I didnt drink late. Ive been sleeping like a rock and waking up with a pep in my LIGHTER step! I feel like a lil spunkette all day long. Gives you a reason to keep on pumpin huh Rissa?

      Ohhh yah, this WOE totally kicks king kong butt!

        Yeah, what you've described is what they call a "food coma". It's so nice that it goes away once we start eating right.
