The Beginning Of A Journey...um Again

Hello everyone....well I am ready to go ahead and start back on this WOE earlier than I anticipated. Originally I set a date of November 17th to begin this but I am confident that I can go ahead and start my induction tomorrow. I have approx 50 + pounds to lose and am going to attempt to do it in 4 months. Why 4 months? Well mainly because it is a personal goal that I would like to acheive but also I figured that if I can do this during the time of the year when temptation is the greatest (holidays) then I will be able to effectively do this the rest of my life. Currently I am sitting steady at an attractive 255 lbs on a 6' 2" frame. According to the stats put out by the military and other resources, I should weigh anywhere between 185-194 lbs. I think this is reasonable for my size so I am shooting for the lower number. I am on the treadmill three times a week for 30-40 minutes still but, because I eat like crap, it does me no good other than health benefits. I have read the DANDR three times cover to cover, I have also read the Atkins essentials and have prepared a journal for myself so that I can keep track of my food intake. I have been reading a few of the posts on this board from people who have been successful and one of them BROOK stands out to me to be very inspirational. One reason is because of the amazing transformation that she has made, another is because she is smokin hott lol Actually there are quite a few people who inspire me on this board, and I hope to keep me inspired and motivated as I board the low-carb ship bound for healthy island lol.

Welcome Ccol. Seems like you are ready to go. You have a great mindset for this WOE.
You are starting at a hard time with the holidays but like you said, if you can get through it now you can stick with it for the rest of your life.
