  • should I...

    Hi,
Well it was last friday that I got the bad news, had weighed myself finally, but it had been months since I knew my weight. I found out I am a lot bigger then I thought.
Anyways, tomorrow it Friday again, I'm tempted to go out and purchase a scale so I can see if I've progressed. Then again, you know how you go to the doctor and the weight is always higher than at home? Does that happen to you?
Well, at least if I have a scale at home, I can accurately monitor my weekly weight.
    Should I go for it?

why don't you call your doc and ask if you can come in and use his to see how accurate yours is andthen you will have a correlating number for both and the change from last week too.

I don't see anything wrong with that at all. Just remember a few things though. When you weight yourself at home, it will usually be first thing in the mornings with nothing on, right? When you weigh at the doctors, it will usually be later in the day with most of your clothes on.

Remember, your weight will fluctuate during the day as much as 3-4 pounds. Make sure to gage the accuracy by weighing yourself right before going to the doctor in the same clothes. Then you'll have a better idea how accurate your scales are
