Its already Saturday morning for me and I am going on a day trip south to pick apples and take a ride on a steam train. I have already packed my lunch so I won't be tempted to eat the apples, and stay legal.

It sounds like you will have a lovely day, Lynne! Will there be pictures? I love seeing them.

yes, the holidays are here! Time to visit with family and friends, and hopefully we'll get some compliments on how great we look!

This weekend, I want to continue with my induction without any cheats like eating foods that will only make me feel crappy. I started drinking 1/2 decaf in my morning coffee, trying to gradually quit. So, this weekend I'd like to continue that. I'm also going to get some diet rite to drink, instead of diet coke. (yes, I will remember to count the carbs)

Lastly, WATER!! I tend to not drink enough on the weekends.

I like seeing those concrete goals, Arielle! If you start to feel weak, do me a favor:

              1. Note what's causing you to want to eat. Are you tired? Bored? Angry? Stressed out?

              2. Outline strategies that will keep you from it and take action. If tired, sleep. If bored, go get that magazine you wanted to read. If angry, write a letter you don't intend to send. Stressed out? Talk about it.

              We're here for you.

                Cleo,

Now how is being an incentive better than what I call you, "Goddess of all things Atkins"? I thought that was the best I could do.

                  *laughing out loud*

Oh my dear! I'm tempted to take it, but alas, I can't eat the grapes peeled for me by the servants, and that is so part of the requirement. Right under being fanned incessantly while carried through the streets, etc etc. I'd better just stick to something less snazzy.

But I think you are wonderful.

Thanks for the weekend peptalk, Cleo; we can always depend on you heading up the cheerleading team.

I find that, this time, I seem to have every bit of motivation that I need. Finally having someone to care for, and who cares back, after nearly twenty years of flying solo keeps me right on track. By the way, we're taking the plunge and moving in together on Friday, the 18th. So, don't expect ANY posts from Chris that weekend!
