  • It's Time

    Hi All,

    It's time for me to introduce myself in the Second Time club. This is really my 10th or 11th time. I've lost count.

    I don't even want to get into what stopped me the last time, because I'm now in a no excuses frame of mind, and I don't really want to remind myself, but I'm back, I'm seriously commited to this way of life, and I'm not turning back.

    My official re/start date was November 1st. I cashed in at a whopper of 261 pounds. I told myself I'd never let myself get above 250, and a long time before that, I promised myself I'd never weigh more than 200 pounds. Well, right now I'd be thrilled to weigh 200 pounds.

    I've challenged myself to do 14 days clean, and so far, I'm 9 days in, and induction is clean as a whistle.

    I don't care when I reach my final goal of 150 pounds, as long as I'm always moving in that direction.

    Some of you know, I've been sick for over a week, with an upper respiratory infection. I'm taking my meds, and staying on program. As soon as I'm well enough, I'll be exercising again.

    I'll be back to keep you updated.

    Way to go on your re-commitment! I love your new picture, too! I knew you didn't have green fur. I just *knew* it!

      Welcome back! I also re inducted but on the 5th. I was ready for it. I decided to wait until I had a 11 day vacation from work, so that I could KEEP IT CLEAN! When I go back to work next week I will be prepared with my Atkins friendly food.

        Well done

        I often think that a 'cheat free' goal is better than a 'x pounds by . . . .' one, as we really cant control how much weight our body will lose but we CAN control what goes into our mouth!!
