    I'm back

I am putting my question on another board, because I don't think the newcomers have the answer to this one.

I have been away from the board for about 8 months and I am trying to get back into the shape of things. I know we do not count calories so to speak, but I remember there was a certain amount of calories we had to maintain as well as not go under in order for the body to burn calories proficiently.
I have Dr. Atkins book which I must re-review, but I was wondering if anyone out there remember reading that off the cuff. There was a chart that calculated this for me. I am aware of the 65% fat, 30% protein, and 5% carbs, which I am following. I started again today.

That would be your BMR? And that depends on whether you exercise or not. Here is a place to calculate your BMR. http://www.dallasdietitian.com/resources/calcalc.htm
