  • A picture of me...

It is all I can do to add this picture of me to my signature block. It makes me cry to look at it. This is me at 139 pounds. I am with my dh on the teacups at Disney World. The sad thing about this picture is that I thought I looked good that day. The whole family was there. I took extra pains with my make-up, etc... Sigh. I wanted you to see me. You all are so open and sharing with me. I also have to admit that I am starting day one again today. I have done this 30 times in the past month. The longest I got was three weeks and the carb creep got me. Not this time. Not this time. Not this time.

Great job on adding your photo. I took me a while and now I feel like a pro.

I would love to weight in at 139. Throw in some exercise and you should tone up really nicely.

How did you get thru the teacups? That ride makes me sick

Stay strong and forget those carbs, they just bring us down. Go eat something fatty and feel better. I always do.

          Re: A picture of me...

You are all absolutely right. I feel better than ever this evening. I just jogged for a half hour. Thanks for all your support. I know that 139 doesn't sound like much, but you have to realize that I am barely five feet tall, so that doesn't help.
The teacups, I can't stand em. Perhaps that also accounts for the awful picture.
I will check in with you all tomorrow. I am just loving having to be accountable to you. Thanks!

Just remember we all come from somewhere. It is not where that defines us or our worth. It is the journey and where and how we are going that does. I think you can already read that the women and guys on this board can see the beauty in you already. As you work your way through the pounds, it will only get more obviously. Good job, and remember focus on making sure just the next meal or snack is Atkins friendly. You don't need to worry about tomorrow or three weeks from now.

BTW Congrats you are already lost 10% of the weight to goal in Induction! Metabolic resistance is definitely not a problem for you.

Thank you for the kind words. I cannot express to you what they mean to me. I am sure that most of us have a photograph that is emotionally charged for us and this one is mine.

Kent: I love your pictures. Wow. You look absolutely fantastic!

Desert: I guess we share a love for these military guys?
