    Hi guys

    Im slowly backing into the plan all over again. By no means yet induction legal but sugar free and working towards full fledged legal woe.

    A little not so friendly PMS this past weekend made me really think about how angry I was... AM.... over having to relose weight already lost once before. I am not in control over many aspects of life at the moment and at the very least maybe I can gain control over my eating. Gotta start somewhere right?

    I see a few of you have returned and there several new faces while I have been (mostly) away. And how awesome it is to see your progress.

    So here I am. Working towards some control. I have taken my first step by getting off sugar and slowly weaning off the bad carbs and in the beginning of a withdrawal headache. Step 2 here I come!

    It will get better - you are well on the way to being a loser again by dropping the sugar.
    Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

          Hi Terry - so nice to see you again
          I fell off the wagon when my Dad was really ill and am now on day 3 of induction. I had a horrible headache all day yesterday but feel fine today.

            Way to go, Terry! Getting the sugar out of the system is the most difficult!

              1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
              what the rungs mean to me:
              rung 1 - more veggies
              rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
              rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
              rung 4 - berries, melon
              rung 5 - wine -
              rung 6 - beans, hummus
              rung 7 - other fruits
              rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
              rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
              Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
              (on to pre-maintenance)
