Re: messed up but moving on
Get over that self hating thing, because that will only lead to more cheating. Remember, you ARE valuable, and you're worth the effort required to take care of you!
Next weekend, when the temptations come -- and they will -- just remind yourself that being strong is giving yourself a wonderful reward. A reward far greater than the few minutes' pleasure that you'll derive from eating illegal foods. Come Monday, you'll be so proud of your own accomplishment, and you'll be loving yourself, not hating yourself.
I know you can do this. Just remember, YOU ARE WORTH IT!-Chris

Re: messed up but moving on
Weekends are hard for a lot of folks, for exactly that reason.. with the structure gone, the plan is harder to follow.
Keep busy, accept it, get past it, and keep going!
I find that if I schedule stuff for us, like the kids and I go swimming, or time at the track (while they play on the playground), that I am less likely to blow it eating, because then my exercise is worthless.

Re: messed up but moving on
Boy I hear you. Friday night card game and binge out. Ever since Halloween I've been falling off the wagon daily. So I just chucked it all and had a blow out playing cards, drinking, and snacking. Boy I felt like c**p the next day. But I got up and finally said enough is enough. Yesterday was sugar free and today I started a sweetner and sugar free commitment. I'm back on induction and determined to kick my sugar addition.
My problem time is the evenings. I'm good all day then fall apart at 7:00. So I have a plan. WATER, WATER, WATER and then some more WATER. Weekends I have to keep busy and plan out my food or I'm sunk. Start my planning for how you will make next weekend different.Michelle,

Re: messed up but moving on
Tomorrow is a new day. Start new and think about how you feel after eating the "junk". If your anything like the rest of us, not good at all...why put yourself in that position? We ALL know you are worth someone that deserves to be nothing but happy!
Michelle has a fabulous idea that I have always done, once it it hits 7pm, stick to nothing but water, food is at a cutoff at that point. Even if any of you cheat, stick to water, water, water, it will help flush out anything.
My problem is just the opposite, I don't eat enough at work, or not frequent enough and then get hungry and give to the vending machine. I am not going to do so this time though!!Restarted 04/09/2007

Re: messed up but moving on
Hey Lush, I find that if I prepare all my weekend meals beforehand, bag and tag and freeze them, it's much easier to keep the meal schedule while everything else is laid back. Just a thought.. Good luck for the next one!
