  • I'm back!

    Guess who got a brand new computer and now has access to this forum?

    ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

    FINALLY! Wow, it's been really tough, being able to SEE all of you, but not post. There was some kind of glitch in my computer system and it just wouldn't let me do more than ghost here. But that, I believe, is now a thing of the past.

    So, to review where I've been and what is up now:

    - bad, BAD computer. Wouldn't let finelly post.
    - good, GOOD computer. New. Will let Finelly post!

    - I have stuck with the program, not cheated, and am now down to 187. I'm still toying with OWL, but often will stick to the induction foods and no more, simply out of taste, though I eat more veggies than ever.

    - I have NOT been exercising regularly, and I feel it. We have a week off at Thanksgiving and hope to be able to get back on track then.

    - Feeling great, looking really good. In fact, my manicurist told my daughter that I shouldn't lose any more! (crazy woman! what does SHE know? I'm 187 and 5 ft 5!!!!!)

    - Still crazy about my new job at the new school. I am blissfully happy there and that makes all the difference in life, doesn't it?

    - Missed you guys like crazy, and kept up with all of you though I couldn't post.

          welcome back. check out Brook's new exercise torture challenge if you are a SI6er if not the 6WEC and the ADBBpres challenge are always aroung and open.

              Hi Fin! Great to see you! I haven't been around as much, have a pretty overfull plate these days. Congrats on your HUGE loss! I am 208 today and gearing up for Onederland, NO CHEATS!!! YEY me! And walking/running 1 hour every day now instead of 1/2 hr. I can't WAIT to join you all! Glad you love your job! Hug!!!

                  Hey there! So glad you are back. I have thought about you! Yay, Finelly is back!
                  149.8/no weigh/ 119



                  1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
                  what the rungs mean to me:
                  rung 1 - more veggies
                  rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
                  rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
                  rung 4 - berries, melon
                  rung 5 - wine -
                  rung 6 - beans, hummus
                  rung 7 - other fruits
                  rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
                  rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
                  Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
                  (on to pre-maintenance)
