  • Better results this time round

    I don't know what it is i'm doing differently this time round...

    1st time round, in 14 days, i lost 8lbs.
    2nd time round, in 9 days, i lost 10lbs

    i'm happy. I'm disapearing. I may get back to horse riding sooner than I think!

    What do you generallt eat for breakfast lunch and dinner...snacks. I need soem new idueas! Good Work keep it up!
    Started Atkins 1/1/05 @ 185.5

    Currently trying to restart 185.0 @ 5 foot 1

    high weight/current weight/goal

    200.2/185.0/135.0

    Goal is to be at goal weight before Disney Trip in May!!!




    FINAL WEIGHT GOAL: 135

    I my weight is up and I am not feeling good about myself!

        The body is a strange, strange thing, and we have to just love it!

        My experience was different - the weight is coming off much, much slower. BUT.........although I started out heavier this time, my inches were less, AND I've lost inches faster. Go figure!

        Anyway, congrats, keep up the good work, and....you're such a loser!

            Good for you Meep! That is awesome! I am having better luck this week, too. Much better progress.

            1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
            what the rungs mean to me:
            rung 1 - more veggies
            rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
            rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
            rung 4 - berries, melon
            rung 5 - wine -
            rung 6 - beans, hummus
            rung 7 - other fruits
            rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
            rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
            Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
            (on to pre-maintenance)

              He he... for my dinner on Sunday, i had:

              4 slices of roast beef
              1 chicken breast
              0.5 cup of leeks
              0.5 cup of carrots

              So yes, i'm doing some veggies....

              Last night, with my bacon, sausage & egg, i actually added ketchup to up my carbs from 0% to 3%ish... When i'm not doing Atkins, my carb count is through the roof, when I am... i can't get enough in to get to what's needed...

              I came to a stop at the end of last week, but I had some pasta on saturday, and have been putting some more carbs in, and it's restarted faster than before!!!

                Are you on induction? if so you need to check the allowed list again to make sure you are sticking to induction-legal veggies
