I just made them last night and *wow* are they ever yummy! My DH ate most of them and he's not even on Atkins..I just sliced them thin, brushed olive oil on them and baked them at 450 for 10-15 min. Give em a try...

Have you tried broccolli stalks? I par-boil the stalks then peel them and cut them into slices or 'french fries' and toss them in oil then roast them in the oven, turning occasionally.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

don't froget you want to get young new small ones just in case you don't love the flavor of turnips the older and bigger the turnip the stronger the taste.by the book atkinseer

I've always liked turnip - if you slice young ones very thin they are nice raw in salad - but I though as a root vege they'd be high in carbs.
