  • Whatcha eating today 11/17/05?

    I had a sausage patty and two scrambled eggs, and 3/4 cup of romaine. I've downed probably 80oz of water already.

    For lunch it's chicken salad on a little bit of lettuce, green bean casserole (fresh green beans, turkey bacon, an egg, some cheese, little mayo mixed together and baked), and some celery w/cream cheese.

    Dinner I think is going to be tuna on a bed of lettuce and brocolli maybe.

    I had a low carb wrap with lunch, which I know is a no no and I am already getting into trouble over it.

    Taco salad for dinner and throwing out the wraps.

    1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
    what the rungs mean to me:
    rung 1 - more veggies
    rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
    rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
    rung 4 - berries, melon
    rung 5 - wine -
    rung 6 - beans, hummus
    rung 7 - other fruits
    rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
    rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
    Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
    (on to pre-maintenance)

      For breakfast I had, 1 bratwurst sausage and a handul of mushrooms.

      For lunch I had a salad made up of iceburg lettuce, mushrooms, double gloucester cheese, white onion, red cabbage, ham and cold left over sausage from breakfast.

      tonight I am going to be having a nice juicy piece of rump steak, with some of the faux potato (recipe made with the cauliflower).

      I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

        For breakfast, I almost always have eggs with a little american cheese melted in there and some salsa. And bacon on the side.

        For lunch today, I had spaghetti squash with pink vodka sauce and mozzarella cheese.

        Dinner is going to be mushroom cheeseburgers.

          I had scrambled eggs with green salsa for breakfast...

          A slice of tomato & basil quiche for lunch...

          And probably some mock rice stir fry for dinner.

          I've also got a slice of flax bread to have at some point in the day.

          Oh..and let's not forget 120 ounces of water!!!

            Breakfast was three eggs, fried.

            Snack was 1 cup of steamed broccolli with melted cheddar.

            Lunch is pumpkin souffle and a devilled egg.

            Snack will be a flax seed cracker with chive and veggie cream cheese.

            Dinner? I haven't even thought about it yet! Do I have to? lol

              I startd the day with two ham and gouda cheese rollups with a few cherry tomatoes.

              Lunch was an 'all-day breakfast' at the local Atkins-friendly cafe - eggs, bacon and mushrooms.

              tonight I did omelettes with a few more cherry toms, some green beans and some chopped leeks in my omelette. I oven roasted some brocolli stalk chips as well for DH as he was light on his veggies today.

                Breakfast was 'flax oatmeal' (flax, cream, butter, water, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder)

                Lunch was a leftover greek pork & feta sausage from last night, and salad (romaine, tomato, yellow peppers, vinaigrette)

                Dinner is going to be pizza - crust made with soy flour, topped with tomato sauce, mozarella, pepperoni, mushrooms, and ground beef. Yum!

                Snacks have been a hardboiled egg, cheddar cheese, and strawberries topped with yogurt.

                  I had absolutely No appetite today for breakfast...So I drank tons of water
                  Lunch I had Tuna w some peppers and onion (just a little) w mayo and ate w lettuce
                  snack I am having 1/2 a turkey stick w some cheese
                  supper I am making shrimp stir fry w mixed veggies and faux rice...can't wait for that one..
                  snack for the evening, I will be making my current addiction...turnip chips
                  and of course lots of water throughout the day!!!

                    Today for breakfast I had canned salmon.Lunch, I had a chicken salad made with chicken flakes and mayo.
                    Dinner, I haven't had yet...but it'll be fish and veggies.

                      I had a late breakfast today of a low carb $6.00 hamburger from Carls Jr. (without the catchup and only one slice of cheese)
                      For lunch it was a slice of tomato and basil quiche.
                      Supper will probably be some of the mock rice stir fry if I get off work in time to cook it.
                      And so far 75 oz of water.

                        2 glasses water / Breakfast: 1 egg, 6 mushroom, 4 pieces bacon (not full rashers, about 1/2 size) cup decaff / 2 more glasses / Lunch: 3 slices roast beef (home cooked) 3 letteuce leaves, 1 babay carrot, handful each green beans and snow peas, 2 sticks celery, 4 tiny tim tomatoes, 4 strawberries (big ones) decaff / 3 glasses water / Dinner: chicken breast broiled in oven, stir fry of beans, snow peas, yellow squash, leek, mushroom decaff / 2 glasses water.

                        I'm well and truly stuffed!
