  • Chicken wings-help?

We are ordering in today for lunch, can you tell me if they usually add anything "bad" to them, coating, or otherwise? I think they only have buffalo wings. Do they add sugar usually? I am going to ask but was hoping to get some advanced notice on hidden ingredients!

Every place is different. Give the place a call you're ordering from and ask questions - "are the wings coated in flour before frying? Are they coated in anythng, or are they fried plain? Does the sauce have sugar in it?" etc.

I've found most places to be very good at answering questions

Seems like most places just use a vinegar/butter/hot sauce mix for their sauces...unless it says "barbeque", then it probably is full of sugar! Most of the time wings are low carb, though..and very tasty! At worst you could always order them plain and add your own sauce.

I called and asked and they said no coating, no sugars in sauce. I'm nervous but it's a dozen. I figure I will eat 1/2 and some romaine for lunch and hopefully if there is anything really bad with them I will notice it right away by taste. Thanks!

just remember to use the key low carb word "naked" hot wings and you should be fine.

                    SO how was your lunch?
