  • For those of you taking a minute at a time

    Hey, don't worry, I've been lied to

    Things to do THIS minute when it's hard to hold on:

    1. Have a glass of water.
    2. Walk around the block real quick.
    3. Post on this forum.
    4. Pm someone.
    5. Take a shower.
    6. Eat something high in fat and protein. Or, just high in fat.

    I know I can always count on you to put things into prospective and help others along the way.

    Today has been about keeping busy (I know I have posted that at least twice today already!) and coming here several times thruout the day for positive reinforcement.

    Swiss cheese got me thru this afternoon too!

      1. Sometimes taking a nap really works. It kills a lot of minutes, and a lot of times when we're tired our defenses are worn down.

      2. Look at Finelly's picture. She's so prittay. The jealousy alone makes me want to jump on my treadmill and gnaw the handlebars and walk a lot. She's that cute.

      3. Take the remote and flip back and forth between PBS and a sports show at intervals. We laugh SO hard.

      "The Incas were known for being..."

      "...RAM TOUGH!"

      ...."and look at Dwight Holmes going long for a..."

      "big red ceremonial headdress worn when they threw the virgins into the..."

      "....endzone for a TOUCHDOWN!"

        boy am I glad you weren't my coach. if I could even do 1/2 of that list in a minuter I'd be a pro athlete for sure.

        I'd add look at your written list of reasons why you want to be healthier and smaller and decide if whatever is tempting you is of more value to you then the healthier smaller you is. When we count the cost first we stop.

          I'm telling ya, there's a REASON why my pic isn't on here. You guys would be homicidal with jealousy. <snicker>

          Cleo - can't tell a bit of difference between your before and during picture, except your hair is different, you're wearing different outfits, and you are kind of way thinner now. Other than that, pshaw, no change.....
