  • Different Stallers 2nd time around?

When you started your 2nd (3rd, 4th, whatever!) time did you find that you ran into things that now stall you that did not when you originally did Atkins? I wasn't stalled by anything my first time, but this time I think I might be. I don't know I am trying to pinpoint it down to something..today I am up 1lb, measurements stay the same too. I know, I know don't weigh yourself that often but I am a scale-o-holic always have been, and insist on weighing myself everyday.

don't forget as you get smaller your basal metabolism goes down so eating and doing the exact same thing now you did 20 pounds ago for a slow loser will cause you to gain weight now.

many big losers realize this as their ah ha moment andbust stalls.

Also the food might have a different formula then when you first had it. i know many mnay brand names ahve changed ingredients without any announcement so be be ever vigil in your label readings.

    happy low carbing.

I guess I am confused with that statement...so I have to completely revamp what I am doing because what caused me to lose before may be causing me to gain now? This is pretty technical I guess.

I eat almost all fresh veggies, and meats, eggs, etc. so I don't really have any labels to watch.

Any insight is appreciated on this!

I believe that when we yoyo too much our fat cells do what they evolution bred them to do: hold enough fat to sustain a famine in pregnancy. So when we stop eating and then overeat, the body yells, "woohoo! Partay!" and it holds onto the fat cells longer the second time to some degree.

The result: you are going to have to work a little harder the next time, because you have a wonderful body bred for survival! You just have to let those fat cells know you mean business by sticking with it.

you need to feed only your hunger when you are eating and your body should be telling you to eat less as you get smaller unless you vastly increasde your exercise. What caused you to lose weight the first time at 197 may not cause you to lose weight at the same speed now at 165 is what I'm saying.

One thing Cleo for got is when you rapidly regained your weight you didn't rebuild muscle tissues too so now if you were the same weight as before you should have morebody fat andless calorie burning lean body mass too. so what worked before willneed to betwealed for your new body is what I'm saying.
