I know, I know, there's a whole section on recipes on this board. But I just can no longer navigate this board the way I could before it was rearranged.

What are some yummy Atkins-friendly foods you are preparing this year?

    Re: Thanksgiving Recipes

    For appetizers, I'm laying out:

    - baby dill pickles
    - black olives
    - tiny flax seed crackers with flavored cream cheese
    - veggies with dip (homemade)

    For desserts, I'm serving:

    - pies for the carb-loaders
    - crustless pumpkin pie (sugar free, homemade)
    - cheesecake pudding
    - chocolate mousse in tiny shot glasses

      Appetizers~
      cheese & flax crackers
      olives & pickles
      veggies & dip

      Meal~
      Turkey
      Ham
Mashed potato - for me, fauxtatoes
Squash - for me "pumpking squash"
Stuffing........... I will pass on this
      Green beans
Sweet potato - my fauxtatoes are enough for me
      cranb sauce for the others
I will make up a gravy and for myself have pan juices

      Dessert~
Asst pies - I will be having cheesecake and will freeze any leftovers so as not to over indulge.

I did plan for that late evening snack of a turkey sandwich by picking up low carb pita's. They freeze well and Ill have a light snack in the evening if I want it without worrying about getting into something far more sinister.

      Friday.............. Turkey soup!!

Turkey and all the other stuff for the rest of the people, but I'm going to include green beans with bacon, deviled eggs and a nice tossed salad. For dessert, I'm making a crustless low-carb cheesecake (and the usual pumpkin pies for everyone else). And I've loaded the fridge with a lot of flavored seltzer waters because I don't drink them often and they seem like a treat to me.
