  • Friday check-in

    Morning all!

My daughter is having a nap so I thought I'd take the opportunity to come on here and say hello!

Not much happening today. I have to wait in for the plumber who is changing my hot water tank.

Not sure what I'm going to have food wise today. Probably soup for lunch and chicken salad for dinner.

Have a lovely weekend everyone xx

    Hi Zara!

Nap time is so peaceful when they are little!

TGIF!!! This week went by fast. Gonna be a messy day around here with a mixture of snow and rain for the day into this evening.

Im doing great with my atkins and getting some exercise in. I definately need to get the the grocery store pretty soon though. Cupboards are getting a bit bare!

    Happy Friday everyone!

Good Morning Terry and Zara! ...and good morning and happy friday to all!

Just about ready to leave for work...meals all packed as well as my gym bag for tonight. Started adding a little more veggies to my plan...still under 20 carbs...but I wanted to see how I do with it...preparing myself for eventually moving to OWL....now it's just modified.

Very cold here and windy! By monday/Tuesday we will have a Nor'easter with a few inches of the dreaded white stuff

Hope everyone has a great day!!

        Good morning everyone!

Not much happening here...Just following the plan and trying to exercise when my knee doesn't hurt...I'm going to get a knee brace while I'm at Wal-Mart tonight. Maybe I'll get some exercise in when I get home...It not I've got to exercise for 55 minutes tonight to make it to 150 for the week.

Oh...and I just got accepted into boot camp! I can't wait to start!

The weather here in OK is going to be fairly nice today...mid-50s. Tomorrow a cold front is coming in...ugh!

        Have a wonderful FRIDAY!!!

          Re: Friday check-in

Good grief, I had a whole post written out and then my window closed. Grumble.

So, anyway, Happy Friday! Whoo Hoo! I did great yesterday, day three of induction. Induction seems to be a good way for me to get through the Holidays and not let the carb creep in! I also drank all my water, 100 ounces. That sure does seem like a Christmas Miracle to me.

The big thing is that, thanks to Cleo's NYE Challenge, I have exercised three times in a row this week. Only two more to go! Yay.

          Have a great Friday everyone!

            Re: Friday check-in

            Good Evening everyone,

I had a good day yesterday and today. Wednesday events conspired against my well laid plans. My plan to have steak and salad at a business dinner then just some cheese and cold cuts at a party the same night, did not work out. The steak turned out to be only about 3 oz and I was still hungry after the dinner, arrived at the party late and HUNGRY. Made the best choices I could but I overate and compromised a little too much.

Thanks to the NYE challenge I got right back on track.

              Michelle,

I like your words to remember in your tag line, good idea.

As they say 'the best laid plans"..... but you made the best of it and jumped right back on the wagon. The NYE challenge is helping to keep me in track as well.
