I just got back from my fourth "mini-walk" of the workday, and it has gotten so cold and windy outside. We were even having light snow flurries, earlier. I've got to remember to start bringing my gloves. A 10 minute walk seems to take about an hour when your hands are getting numb!
I just tried to remind myself, as I was walking, that the human body uses most of the calories that it burns just to maintain its temperature. So, I tell myself, a walk in the cold burns more calories than a walk during the summer! (Probably not true, but sounds like a good excuse for doing this to myself!)
So, how is it in your corner?
