  • Ta ta for now folks

    Hi Guys
    Well, after my father being ill, I thought we'd had all the bad health we needed in our family. Unfortunately, my daughter has been really ill with a high fever for the last four days and has been in and out of hospital. Thankfully, she seems to have turned a corner today and is on the mend.

    I am sorry to say I have completely gone off the plan as have been feeling really sick for weeks (you may remember my - I may be pregnant post - that's how sick I've been feeling).

    I have made a conscious decision to come of this WOE for a month to see if I feel any better but I promise I will still come over once a week to see how my Staccies are and also will not go on an all-out binge. I am going to the dreaded WWatchers.

    I will be back when I feel better - promise.

    {{{Zarabell}}} We all have to do what is best for ourselves. Please take care! You will be missed, but you are an asset wherever you go. FWIW, lowcarbbulletinboard.com is our sisterboard and there is a group of WW people there!

        Cleo - I will check out the sister board - thanks for the tip.
        I am sure I will be back - I just can't get in the funk this time and am actually eating worse than I did before as start the day with atkins intentions and then blow it all in the evening.
        I'll be back.

          Well, just so you know, I think that you need to try WW. Until you do, you are going to wonder if you've been missing something. I think you'rve learned a lot about glycemic indexes and you know what makes you feel physically well. I think you enter into WW smarter because of this experience, and I've no doubt that even if things might not work out with WW, you are a more educated eater than you might have been had you gone right to WW to begin with. Does that make sense?! *l* There is so much nutritional knowledge in the world, and I hope that this is a positive experience for you! {{{zarabelle}}}

              Oh Zara!

              Ive been missing you. So sorry to hear about your daughter.

              Do be sure to check in ................ this inquiring mind wants to know how you are doing.

              I agree with Cleo. You need to look into WW and see if it is for you. You know that you can always come home and return to low carb if you like at any time. It is hard to get back on once you have fallen off that wagon.

              I hope you can find what will work best for you!

                Zara, if your going off the low carbs, try to at least think healthy and stay away from junk foods. You'll be doing yourself a big favor. So, its Aloha, not goodbye.

                        If you're planning to fail, you're failing to plan. Don't go there. No one here wants you to fail. This isn't about making some point at the expense of others. What works for some doesn't for others. You have to do what's right for you. But above all, be positive! You can do what you put your mind to!

                          I'm not planning to fail. I am planning to suceed on WW. I just think I will get bored on WW over time and may be back.
