  • I'm back...

...because, well. I've basically gained 20 pounds in 4 months. This is maybe... my third or fourth time retrying. Things have been stressful and I've been eating. I'm just so incredibly disgusted with myself. My jeans that were hanging off of me in July are tight now and I just feel like I don't look good in -anything-. My stomach is really huge and I'm self-conscious about it.

Got on the scale the other day and it read 175 - 20 pounds up from my lowest weight this year. I have to get back on track. I'm turning 22 on Monday and I feel like I've wasted so much of my life trying to lose this weight. I've seriously lost out on so much - meeting people because I feel so bad about myself; feeling like everyone in the room is staring at my imperfections. I don't want this to be a battle that lasts decades! I WANT THE WEIGHT GONE FOR GOOD!

I'm on my second day of induction and really determined... and you guys are so supportive. I always feel welcome here.I just hope this is my last time around.

I'm wishing you all the luck in the world beautiful.
I've been through the same rollercoaster-
quitting after about 4 months and falling back into old habits and 20lbs more than start weight...

Lets pledge to never do it again.
The lifestyle change is what is such a challenge to maintain.

I just imagine how good I'm going to be feeling by summertime.
It's worth all the carbs in the world.

        Keep with it.
I know I'll be supporting you.

welcome back to both of you. As you both know luck will have nothing to do with your success. it is going to be your hard work and your determination to properly work your Atkins up theough the phases so you are armed with the best possible skills and knowledge of your body and how it reacts to all food groups that will determine if this is indeed your final tripo up the slippery slope as the CC calls your journey from where you are to where you need to be. Happy low carbing.
