  • Back for Success!

    Hi all,

I lost about 70 pounds doing Atkins a couple of years ago but fell off the wagon and never got back on before reaching my goal weight. Last year I tried a few times to get back on but had so much turmoil in my life I couldn't stick with it. My H (who I believe is undiagnosed bipolar) decided to have a Mid life Crisis, left home ( leaving me with an autistic 9 year old and a 3 and 4 year old) and took up with another woman, then he quit watching the kids while I worked and I had to quit my job to care for them. After a year of turmoil my life is finally much better, even better than before H left and I am ready to go back on Atkins and get back to the gym! I realy need support thogh and am hoping to find a couple of email buddies to help me through!
I plan to restart induction on January 1st! A new me for a new year and my goal is to lose 50 pounds by June 1st.
    Restart 01/13/08
    268/268/ 200 by June 30 2008 then who knows....

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Danielle, you've come to the right place. ADBB is the board, and STAC is definetly the club to be in. Although few of us have suffered the life turmoils that you've gone through, we all had our own personal reasons for falling from the wagon, and are back, this time, to complete the journey.

I'm sure that with all the support you'll find from all of the wonderful folks here in STAC, you'll have no trouble, at all, in achieving glorious success!
