  • STAC Members who joined New Year's Eve challenge

Where the heck are you all?!! It looks like Terrie (Swimmom) and I are the only ones who've checked in, lately.

Maybe you fell off the wagon, but that doesn't mean you can't jump right back on, you know!! There's still three days until New Year's. Just think how much better you'll feel on the morning of the first, if you know you're firmly planted back in that wagon seat and are, once again, traveling on your Atkins journey.

Now, all of you, go to challenges, 'fess up (if necessary), and get yourselves together!! (Said with lots of love!)

Re: STAC Members who joined New Year's Eve challenge

So I will confess my sins:

I stuck to the plan quite well. Fell of on Sunday 11 December and started Induction again on Monday, 12 December. I stuck to the plan, drank all my water and exercised 5 days a week.

Then, on Friday, 23 December, I got some disturbing news (and when I say disturbing I mean REALLY bad stuff). I sat down with a box of Ferrero Rocher and nearly finished it. No, my problem did not go away and, no, I didn’t feel any better.

And so Christmas Eve arrived. My fat-brain convinced me that: “you already cheated yesterday, what use starting Induction on Christmas Eve?!?” So the same thing happened on Christmas day, Boxing Day, and so on and so on. And here I am. Still not back on induction and tomorrow is New Years Eve.

Fortunately I haven’t gained any weight. Probably because of the exercise.

So this is my promise to myself: I will start Induction on Sunday, 1 January.

I also removed the NYE Challenge graphic from my siggy … I don’t think I am technically part of this challenge anymore.

Good luck to you guys and I wish you a very happy 2006.

Checkin in. Boot Camp took me away for a bit and I never did get back to the thread. Other than "legal" (I hate that phrase) cheats.... many of them I am rollin along one day at a time.

Now though, none of that legal cheat stuff and I have cut out cream, splenda and watching my cheese closely.
