  • Ouch!!!!!!!!!

Boy I fell, stumbled, tripped and totally crashed off this woe. I would love very much to please come back. I miss this woe and I really missed all of you.
I only put 10lbs back on, but I really have got my body in a mess over all the sugar and carbs. I stopped working out too.
It all started back in Oct. when I turned 40. My family, marriage and health went for a nose dive. I am happy to say though...with a lot of love from my husband and a lot of Gods help, things are really turning around. I just have this one last thing(woe) to get grips on and boy I tell you I am soooo ready. I am tired of the mood swings and the fatigue is horrible.
I have a few things coming up this month that I am still dealing with. My daughter is getting married (14th) and I am having a complete hysterectomy(18th). The wedding is a no sweater for me. It's the surgery I have so many concerns about. Hormone therapy or not? How will this affect my woe? Will I still lose wt. on hormones?
Wow I feel like a mess. Have you guys got room in STAC for me????

    Re: Ouch!!!!!!!!!

There is ALWAYS room for you!

We have all stumbled. I have had some pretty major butt bruising from falling off that wagon a time or 2 so dont feel bad. Thats what STAC is here for. Grab some of 2Bigs never ending supply of butt glue and hop back on!

That 10# will be long gone before you know it!

    Welcome back~

Michele, about the hormone therapy, that is something that you and your doc need to discuss. Remember what happens when we go on this plan, every tiny bit of estrogen seems to find a way into our bloodsteams. LOL
Welcome back my friend. Your in good company...

          Glad you are back.

About the hysterectomy questions the first question is will you need HRT physically? are you getting a total with ovaries too or just uterus? if you got your ovaries they you shouldn't need HRT and will progress to menapause according to your genetic make up.

As fro weight loss I had one back in the 90s and had absolutely no trouble losing on Atkins.

Leslie001 had one last yr as did several other ADBB memebers and once you have recovered from your insicions and your doc says you can workout again you should be god to go.

          Happy low carbing.

I will be having my ovaries out too. I have fears of turning into this big emotional monster without the hormones because I tend to be emotional anyway. I fear the decrease in the intamcy(sorry guys) issues as well. I have discussed it with both the surgeon and family docs and they both say it would be a good idea to be on them and then try it without later, but that it was my choice. They didn't know if it would change my wt. loss effects though.

Thank you for the big welcome back!!! You guys are all so great!!!
