Welcome to STAC! You have come to the right place. Take a look around. You will see lots of friends here back and re starting their Atkins just like you. Be sure to spend some time in the stickeys at the top of the forum. They will be quite helpful to you.

hi kate...welcome!!! looks like we are about in the same boat (I am guessing I stumbled to about the tune of 40lbs) and have just restarted yesterday.

The more the merrier! I wish I could be 195 right now, but I still have some work to do. I think I'm setting my first mini-goal to 250. I have a long ways to go. It's nice to meet you!

ah! my signature....that is from the past and I am just too lazy (embarrassed to change it) but I really don't know what I weigh now...but I am guessing about 40lbs more than that...I know I moved up about 3 sizes from that pic!!

I can understand that. I'm not quite ready to put my own picture up here yet. I don't have a recent one anyway. I tend to shy away from the cameras. I do have a good one from when I was my heaviest, but I'm saving that to post beside a pic when I'm halfway to my goal for comparison. I'm so huge, I'm embarrassed, but when I can show a good size difference, I imagine that will lessen just a little bit. At least I hope it does!

But one thing that did bring me back to atkins, I recently went to disneyland with a friend and she wanted to get pics done so we did..and when I saw my pic, my stomach sticking out….I almost went into shock right there and came close to having a throw down tempertantrum in the middle of [/font][font='&#65325]Disneyland[/font][font='&#65325]. So I can understand where you are coming from.[/font]

[font='&#65325]But, when you do feel up to showing a pic, trust me…we would all love to see it. Because Pictures really do show the change better than the naked eye! You will be amazed at the differences you can pic out in a picture but not in the mirror...[/font]

hey there! i just re-started for the millionth time 3 days ago. but i gained back almost 60 pounds... or so. so im in the same boat!
