Hi everybody, I'm glad this forum is here. I had great success on Atkins in 2003, dropped 40 pounds then immediately got pregnant. Now I have a 13 month old and the 40 pounds back plus 35. Lovely! I am in re-induction day 3, actually the end of day 3 and already I'm tired to death of EGGS! I never have been a real big egg-eater, maybe once a month or so, so getting those eggs down is hard for me. I'm not a real big meat-eater either lol! I was a vegetarian for several years, but I ate tons of bread and pasta, so that wasn't good. I do love my chicken and turkey.
What do you all eat when you want something crunchy, like chips? I have figured out how to handle my chocolate fix and stay with the program, but I was wondering today about chips.
My most important goal is to find some way, some how, to exercise. I have the 13 month old, two 8 year olds, and a 7 year old. I work as an LPN and am going to college full time, my senior year of BSN school. I don't have any time to myself except for late, late at night. I get up at 4am just so I can shower before the baby wakes up (fussy, demanding baby). My husband works out of state so I don't have backup to get out of the house and walk even, and who on earth would babysit all my kids at the same time! I look forward to spring when the kids and I can all get together outside and get more exercise. Anyway, those are my excuses. I hate aerobics. I hate to jump up and down. I have tae-bo, aerobics, and pilates DVD's out the ying-yang, hate em all! I need some inspiration.
