  • Hello everyone!

    Hey everyone,

I know this is the second time around club, i was wondering if you have any room here for a fifth time arounder??? I'm not too sure if this is my fifth time but i know i have tried a few times before.

I have been successful each time but i have fallen off the wagon because of something going on in my life, my "emotional bagage"

I am commited to myself this time, and I am truly ready to part tiwh all of this weight. I know i can do it and i am here to prove myself right!

hope ya'll don't mind that im here bcecause im back for good!

            Re: Hello everyone!

Diane, you are most welocme to join us. I suspect that you'll find many members of the second time around club who're actually whose time around is a lot more than two.

I know what you mean about emotional baggage. That was exactly my reason for falling off the first time; but, I've decide that I'm just not going to let that happen, again. From now, on, no matter what's happening with me, or with a loved one, I'm going to put my health first. I've received so many wonderful benefits, in addition to the weightloss, for this WOE, and I'm not going to let myself jeopardize those, again.

Again, we're so glad to have you with us!
            -Chris

Welcome . When I started again, I decided not to analyze everything. If I mess up, I mess up and just keep going. So far it's working for me. I'm really being selfish, I want to wear a two piece this year to the shore. Now I just gotta get my butt into the gym more. It's too cold out for that. I'd rather stay home where it's warm.

                  Re: Hello everyone!

I want to wear a two piece on my "singles" cruise in September.... Don't know if it'll ever happen becuase of that genetic pouch that I carry on my lower stomach, BUT it'll be nice to know that if it weren't for that I could....

hmmm don't they make the bttom halves to hide that though???? Maybe I will be able to wear one, would be the first time since the summer after I came out of basic training in 1997.

                      Glad you rejoined.
I saw a thing on TV yesterday about quitting smoking and they said that the first few times that we try to give up cigarettes is just practice for the real time. So I think that thoes times that we started and stopped our diet, were just practice for this time.

Whew! Now that all the "true confessions" have come out -- okay, this is not just "second" time for me either.

Except that I count the whole 2005 year going off and on as if I were totally off. Gaining more than 30 lbs was pretty much "off". This time I WILL do it, and so will you! Good luck!
