  • Well, I said I'd get there......

    And I did!

    I'm on my 6th day of clean induction! Well, clean if you don't count peanuts, but I've always eaten those during induction - just not often!

    I've lost 4.5 pounds so far, in 5 days.

    Well done.....congratulations.....Beware of the peanuts, they are very salty....drink lots of water if you insist on eating them!

      WTG.... I thought I'd get there but on day 13 I fell off!!! Why don't you try and beat me and make it to day 14??? Make it your own personal challenge!

          Anlhess, you're on! 14 days cheat free challenge it is. In the meantime, I challenge you to the same! ;-P

          Terry, for some reason nuts don't really give me cravings. I do tend to eat too many of them though, which is a problem, but at least they're nuts and not potato chips the way I look at it. ;-) I'm actually out of them anyway, so no more for a bit.

              Alright it is 120AM on Monday January 16th.... 14 days cheat free takes me to January 30th.... I can do that..... Day 13 isn't gonna trip me up this time!!!!!

                  Since I'm doing extended induction for the next 2 weeks, may I jump in? It's Jan. 31st for me, which suits me fine, I was planning on doing the OWL rungs a month each, so I'd start Rung 1 on Feb 1st.

                        They don't stall me, but they're not legal technically either.

                        i've done it quite a few times - probably 4 or 5 times.

                          peanuts is my emergency food too.....I have a few bags (small ones with like 15-20 nuts) lying around. When I'm in a hurry and don't have time for breakfast, I take a bag for the bus ride....But only for emergencies....

                              thanks spikette! I finally have gotten accustomed to being on the diet and only have a few moments where I'm whiny about not being able to eat something. For the most part all my desire for non-healthy foods has evaporated though. it's the beer/alcohol that gets me, since a lot of my social life involves alcohol - whether it be wine with dinner or beers out. I'm compromising on that one - I drink every once in a blue moon - big events usually (like the superbowl!). I figure a few beers every few weeks won't kill me. Plus I'm on OWL technically, although I am not doing the rungs in order.
