Re: ok im really ready
I am on. I just restarted yesterday. I know the feeling. I am at 328 but my highest was 410. Still, I have been off and on Atkins for the past year and a half. Literally, I have re-stared Atkins 21 times. Now I am giving it all I got and working super hard to stay on thru this board. I can't be this way anymore. Come on big jay, you can do this, you did it before. We are all here for you. I would recommend you join a challenge to get started and get some support going. I'm here for ya!

Re: ok im really ready
bigjay,
Welcome to STAC. Many of us have been riding the weight and diet rollercoaster many times. I am on my third (and final!) try. The first time I simply fell off .. the second time last summer I was literally thrown off ... and this time I won't let _anything_ come between me and a healthier New Me.
If you want, there are several challenges up and running you might join (see my siggy). Knickknacks cheat free challenge could be just right for you, and don't forget to re-read the book and the stickies in the induction forum.
If you have issues with staying on track and doing this right, you might want to consider signing up for the next boot camp.

Re: ok im really ready
Hi Bigjay,
I didn't start today but I'm not that far ahead of you. I have struggled on and off for a long time. It's time to get serious now. I fell off this last time for very, very stupid reasons. Not that there is a good reason - but this last one was total insanity!
We are all in this together. The challenges make you accountable, not just to others, but to yourself. They really do help!
Welcome to STAC!

Re: ok im really ready
Hi guys! You all are going to do great with the support of this board. This is my forth time (at least) on this WOL. The one biggest thing that keeps me going is knowing that I NEVER WANT TO DO THIS AGAIN. LOL! I don't want to be a scale slave (I am, I admit it...), I don't want to have to keep throwing out clothes that are too big, I don't even want people saying I look like I've lost weight. I just want to be my one goal weight. Forever. Kaput. The end. No more yo-yo!
Everyone finds their internal motivator. I hope you find yours!Female, 21, 5'6"
