  • in spite of hard times, I made the 14!

Hello everyone and thank you so much for you kind and gentle support with my more personal post. This is the longest I have ever done atkins!!! it is my 14th day. I feel sooooo much better. However, officially I have lost maybe 4 or 5 lbs. it was down more than that a couple of days ago. I am CHEAT FREE i might add also. my clothes MIGHT be fitting a bit differently. my face looks thinner. and that is about it. I feel good and no cravings it is unbelievable. I eat for nurishing myself, not for binging and feelings. lol instead, I guess the "feelings" spilled over on the board here the other day eh? lol. sorry for that, but I didnt eat wrong or make a bad choice. I did measurements on the 15th so I think I will measure what is it, like in two weeks from then? I hope I see some progress. I know I AM DOING THIS RIGHT. ugh. but why only the four lbs, when I have like according to a chart, on the lean side, like 90 lbs to lose!!!! I would have still thought start over or not, I would be down more, unless it just falls off all of a sudden. does that happen with anyone???? ok, checkin in,, been busy but in good ways.. helping the family out... taking care of myself. be back tomorrow, hugs all around, Ann.

woo hoo for you 4 pounds very close to the 5% of your needed to oose weight that is ecpected forinduction. remember this is a life long journey not a sprint to goal. You will get there as long as you keep woringyour Atkins like you did for the past 14 days.

You didn't mention exercise inyour post so what youy doing for that mandatory part of yor Atkins?

    Happy low carbing.

Congrats on your loss! In my first 2 weeks this time, I lost 14 pounds total, but it went up and down a couple times. I noticed that when I drank more water, it went down the next day. Not all of us are built to lose 20 pounds on induction, but as long as we stick with the program and do what we're supposed to, the weight WILL come off.
