  • Standing tall, strong, and resolute in the face of the "dancing" scale.

I am on day 22 of my second-ever induction. My first try at Atkins was a year ago.

I am just posting to let the world know that even though I have lost only 6 pounds (but actually the scale keeps "dancing" between 194 and 196), I have not cheated, I will not cheat, I will stay strong. I believe this will work.

I feel better than I have in years. I have lost a TON of inches - my clothes are baggy even though I have only lost 6 pounds. My face is slimmer and prettier.

For me, and I am sure for many of you, the scale ALWAYS "dances" right before it makes a big move either up or down. It certainly can't go up!

So I know any day now, I will see 193, then 192, then.....

So if any of you are like me, stand tall, and strong, and resolute with me.

Standing tall with you! You have a great attitude. I haven't cheated at all, but somewhere along the way this past week I gained 2 pounds back! I was so upset, but this morning (after a long bike ride last night) one of those nasty pounds is gone.

I was right - my devotion to the Atkins WOE paid off today.

I am now officially 192.4 pounds!!!!

      WOOHOO!!!!! I ROCK!!!!

For those of you who are discouraged at slow weight loss:

I lost 6 pounds right away the first week, and then the scale has been stuck for the last 18 days or so.

Finally I have broken through that 194-196 barrier and am losing again.

Don't give up - don't doubt - it will happen.
