    Finally have a date for my surgery

    For those of you who might not know, I have to have a portion of colon removed (about 5 to 8 inches) and a hole in the bladder stitched up. The surgery is scheduled for Feb 8, at 9:30 a.m.

    I'll be in the hospital for three to five days, and then be out of work for three to four weeks following that. I won't be on the board during my hospital stay, but will be more than available after I get home.

    I can't eat anything, at all, the day before surgery, and I understand that I won't be allowed to eat for a couple of days following. Well, I guess I don't have to worry too much about too many carbs or bad hospital food, huh?

              Got it marked and will be praying for guidence for allhands eyes and minds invoolved in your surgery.

              Chris makesure they know you have been on a low carb plan and how low your carbs are or you are going to spike like a diabetic on the IV nutrients you will be getting and the liquids you drink that they give you.
