okay i did loose 13 pounds im now 336 however in 14 days i was 85% only cheating having 1 apple , also i have spent a total of 560 minutes on the toughest machine in the gym .... i am really disappointed i thought i would loose 20 i really worked my buns out at the gym .. i mean soaked every workout obviously i will stay on induction for another 2 weeks...

Wow, 13 lbs is a tremendous loss! It is common to lose between 5-10% of total loss during induction. Did you lose in that range? Do you feel better, are you energized?

BIGjay you lose 13 pounds on the scales. You have no idea how much fat you lost how much water you are holding for biochem reasons and how much lean body mass you have added in the form of more muscle tissues. for all you know you shed 21 pounds of fat added 2 pounds of new muscle tissue and are holding 6 pounds of fluid.
Keep working in the gym and as you muscle learn that is their normal load the will shed all the fluids that are holding to protect you from whatever caused you to over laod them like that. Skinny little Brook added 5 pounds when she switches up her exercise programs for the first week and sheis an exercise addict.
Even though you only had the apple that was enough to slow your fatburning for a while. If you want more foods then move to OWL many many folk actually lose better with the aditional veggies in their diet rung 1 of OWL gives them because they are deficient in phytpnutrients and eatting move veggies gies them the stuff they needed to generate the chemicals in the body needed to improve metaboism.by the book atkinseer

BJ, 2Big has given you some EXCELLENT advice. First of all, being down on the scale by 13 pounds is excellent; however, I'm sure that you lost more fat than that. You've been building up muscle tissue as you've lost fat.

I'm curious, did you use a tape measure? How have your measurements changed?
I lost 3 lbs in 2 weeks, but.....I lost 23 inches. Try the tape, it's a good way to keep track too. How do your clothes fit? It's not all about the scale. It's about the over-all healthier you.

Big Jay,
Congrats on losing that weight.
Don't be focused on the number, just the loss.
If you are making this a Way of Life like you should be, then there is no rush.
I have an opinion, and it's not popular - exercise is over-rated when it comes to weight loss.
It's carbs that cause the over-weight.
That's just my personal opinion.My ADBB Journal here.

Just think of all these huge changes your body has had to make in just these past two weeks. Your cells are running around like what the heck is going on here, fat you get out of here, muscle you take it's place....lol. Soon the scale will reflect all the effort too, if you haven't taped yourself yet, you should do that too!

Hey...you loss is GREAT. And remember pounds of muscle take up less space than pounds of fat....so I"m sure inches are coming off as well. I've been stuck at the same wieght for a few months. I work out 45 mins on the bike...45 on the treadmill, then I lift wieghts for about 45 mins. The scale has not budged. But I know that working out and building the muscle ( I can see it!!) and will eventually help with burning up the fat. I"m not in a rush, this is a life change.elle
