I have had a sinus/throat infection, then came down with the flu, and was bad enough that mid week, I passed out and landed on my face...
SO. All told, I am down 15 pounds in just under two weeks. Not the way I would want to go about it.
My concern is, now that I am able to think about thinking about eating something besides ginger ale and popsicles again, and getting back on my feet... how?
The thought of real food makes me feel like throwing up. Maybe I should stay on soft foods a while? I didnt break anything (lots of blood, no stitches!), but my mouth still really hurts, cant chew, cant talk, and the doctor kind of just left it vague as, eat what you feel ready for when you are hungry. Broth sounds just gross, but I am eating chicken and wild rice soup successfully.
I do still have diarreha, and dont want to aggravate that. I have been eating a mashed up really ripe banana a couple times a day to try to deal with that.
I really want to get back to the gym. I went from 5 -6 times a week regular to being out fro three weeks now, and I am terrified I have lost a lot of ground with my workouts and strength.
Any advise on getting back up again?
