Life is quieter now...and I'm back

    Hey stac-ers,
I hope that some of you remember me from last year; well, I was really trying to get back on track last Oct-Nov., but there were some major upheavals going on in my personal life, and I kept sabotaging myself.

My life has quieted down quite a bit, and it is time for me to address the fact that I've fallen off the wagon, and gained back almost twenty pounds of the sixty that I lost. And I still have a goal to reach!

I'm starting out with Induction today, and I'm also pledging not to weigh myself until Lent is over (April 16), because I get too compulsive with it, weighing several times a day! I'm also going off of all coffee (day 3), because I think it had stalled me in the past. I'm also beginning an exercise program, and am trying to work out everyday until my weigh-in April 16.

    Thanks for listening!

I promised myself I'd never see 200 on the scale again!

      Even decaf stalled you?

I never really tried decaf. I'm a caffeine addict, so therein lies the problem.
I may try a cup of decaf from time to time, but won't make it a daily habit. Drinking Green Tea instead.

welcome back! be proud of yourself for coming back after only 20 lbs... I let myself slip so bad I gained back double what I'd lost.. yikes! but here we all are again, ready to get it off for good. Good luck! I hope giving up coffee rewards you with extra loss. now if only I could put down that can of mixed nuts, I'd be doing so much better..
Sorry everyone. I've had to abandon Atkins. After slipping up, I gained back everything and more. I fully believe in and support Atkins, I know it works, but it's too hard for me. I'm following my own plan now, exercising more, eating less in general and healthier, still focusing more on veggies and fruits and whole grains and much less processed junk and bad carbs. I still visit here occasionally, so I will keep my stats listed here when I do. I wish everyone the best on this program or any others that work for you.

11-10-07: 210/146/125 - more than 60 pounds lost this year!
